There Goes the Neighborhood
A humorous story that ran on MSNBC a little while ago alleging that Rupert Murdoch’s Fox Network is buying Aljazeera is making the rounds in certain leftie political blogs as though it were a true story. Thankfully it’s not true, but the Bush administration is pressuring Qatar to privatize the network. Meanwhile, Aljazeera is reporting that the US is pressuring El Baradei to step down as head of the IAEA.
