Late Night
I’m going to bed now having just finished recording “Lawrence” singing each part one at a time for my department open studios on Sunday. The recording is a little rough around the edges, but it is just right for this piece. It’s sad to sing this song, but I’m glad I finally recorded it. I still feel stressed, anxious, and imagine that nobody will like my work, but I’m probably doing pretty well. I have a lot to do, but it’s a manageable amount, and I will probably be able to do it all tomorrow and still get some sleep.
I’ll try to post this recording over winter break, along with documentation of the show and whatnot.
