2008 Presidential Hopefuls
This page lists prominent 2008 Presidential hopefuls. I’ve linked each hypothetical candidate’s official web site, wikipedia entry, the candidate’s PAC, consulting firm, or business (if applicable), references to the candidates from my del.icio.us and my blog, and other sites of interest.
Enjoy, and e-mail me with any additions.

Footnotes
- Christopher Dodd’s CHRIS PAC (Citizens for Hope, Responsibility, Independence, and Service) has no web presence. Here’s its profile on OpenSecrets.org.
- See Warner’s Blog | The Richmond Report — Allen’s PAC has no web presence.
- Romney’s Commonwealth PAC is not online. In The PAC mentality, the Boston Phoenix discusses Commonwealth PAC. That article links MittRomney.com as the Governor’s web site, but that site is now password protected.
- No web presence for Santorum’s America’s Foundation either. Here are contrasting perspectives on the PAC’s effectiveness from the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Huffington Post.
- This is strange. Sam Brownback is named as being associated with the Restore America PAC all over the web (The Nation, OpenSecrets.org) but his name does not appear on the PAC’s web site.
- Pataki’s 21st Century Freedom PAC is not online, but is profiled by OpenSecrets.org, and is discussed in this Newsday article.
- Giuliani’s Solutions America PAC is not online either. Here is its filing data from the FEC.
