The Massachusetts legislature just voted to approve the ammendment to the state constitution to ban same-sex marriage. They’ll still have to pass it again next year, and only then will it go on the ballot, and marriage will still happen in May, but this is a really unfortunate development.
Anne just sent me a link to a really interesting article from the New York Times about heterosexual cross-dressers. I think the article does a good job displaying the variety of motivations that people have for cross-dressing. I’ve been really impressed with the Times’ coverage of trans issues recently. I wonder what’s up.
