Google Page Creator

Thursday, February 23rd, 2006

Check out Google Page Creator, a just-launched product in Google Labs that

makes it easy for anyone to create and publish useful, attractive web pages in just minutes.

Among the different page designs users can choose from are five that I designed for Google. I’ve published samples of each of the five designs I built for […]

School

Wednesday, August 31st, 2005

I’m back in school. Classes started on Monday (I had one), and I have two more tomorrow. I’m setting up some independent studies, and trying to settle on a thesis committee.

I’m also outlining all the projects on which I’m working. There are a lot of them, and most are pretty much developed conceptually, though I’m […]

Working

Tuesday, July 26th, 2005

I’m doing various kinds of web work this week — doing edits and making new sites for old clients, and working on new projects. I’ve been working on some of these projects since the start of the month, but this is also the first week I’ve been in Troy with nothing else scheduled. So — […]

This is a really good looking blog and features writings on […]

What Are Blogs?

Friday, April 29th, 2005

Tom Coates posted a presentation on what blogs are, which is very thoughtful, and aptly characterizes my experience of having one. Early in the presentation, he cites an article from 2000 by Rebecca Blood (which I remember reading about a year ago) which provides a good early history of blogging.

The Horseless Carriage … (Tom Coates)

Macromedia

Tuesday, April 19th, 2005

Holy crap! Adobe bought Macromedia. Since I’m not all that excited about Flash yet, my main concern is about how any potential integration of GoLive and Dreamweaver might turn out. Hopefully the superior web standards compliance and code editing of Dreamweaver will carry over to a product with a better Mac port.

Here are some people’s […]
