Tom Coates posted a presentation on what blogs are, which is very thoughtful, and aptly characterizes my experience of having one. Early in the presentation, he cites an article from 2000 by Rebecca Blood (which I remember reading about a year ago) which provides a good early history of blogging.

Holy crap! Adobe bought Macromedia. Since I’m not all that excited about Flash yet, my main concern is about how any potential integration of GoLive and Dreamweaver might turn out.
